GREAT PHO. THE BEST IN HALTOM CITY.

Easy to find right off Belknap considering everything is at odd angles to the street. A welcome sight when its raining buckets outside. Decor is remisniscent of the 60's style diners with lots of contrasting black and whites. Service speed is average and staff is friendly enough. The large bowl special ordered with extra meatball was a bit lacking... Broth was darker, cloudier, and a bit briny more like pho Bac Northern style. Noodles were on the underdone side perhaps of the temperate broth. The meat tried to come to the rescue but with the extra portion ordered they underwhelmed instead. The veggies were all there except for the rare coriender which appears in 1 of 10 pho restaurants I've been to. Considering this is in a well established VN shopping area that have reached critical mass, I have to rate this average whereas it could have garnered a good rating in more remote area. One change that would make a world of difference, filter the water!!! It is so hard that I can taste the calcium in the drinks, guess what it does for the broth...
