If your in Jacksonville, and your looking for some good food, look no further. The food is great! The staff is great! The location is close to St. Johns Town Center (about 5-7 miles).

We have a 3 year old that doesn't ever eat Pho when we take her to a Vietnamese Restaurant. So far this is the only place she will eat it. I highly recommend trying Saigon Bistro out. We have only known about it for a week and have been there 4 times already.

A definite MUST!!!

Very good food here, and if you have dietary concerns, they are very accommodating to change the dish to satisfy your liking. A small pho is plenty of food for one...it's sort of hidden off St. John's Bluff, but worth looking for!

I have been to all the Vietnamese restaurants in Jacksonville and had to try this one out when I came to visit Jacksonville. Coming from a owner myself the service was good but our waiter came by at least 10times and didn't let my wife and I enjoy the meal. I don't mind 2-3times but more than 10 was too much for us. Also the food was served in very small quantity for the price. Overall I was not impressed at all. In the future if my wife and I come here on business trip again Saigon Bristo will not be seeing us.

I didn't rate the broth or noodles because we didn't try any of the pho or other soups. However, the food we did have easily makes this one of the very best restaurants I've ever eaten at in Jacksonville.

The lemongrass stir fry baby clams were a magnificent appetizer, and every part of the main course was marvelous. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves wonderfully prepared food.

Also, the decor is very nice: the restaurant is filled with original artwork.

Florida Pho Phanatic
This will be my 2nd favorite pho restaurant in Jax. The broth was very good -- I could really taste the star anise in it. Your pho will not be served with a big herb plate. It will come on a small plate with the basil leaves already plucked from the stems. Where's the fun in that? And you will get a large tablespoon to eat the broth instead of a deep-bowled spoon. Another small plate held siracha sauce and hoisin sauce. I had to ask for fish sauce. I would have preferred hot pepper flakes in oil instead of the siracha, but it wasn't available. All in all, though, the pho was very good. My husband had bun with grilled beef. Now that was great!! It's definitely the best bun in Jax. The surroundings are upscale, but not pretentious. The wait staff was very helpful. We'll definitely be going back; I'll get the bun next time.
