Immediately when you enter, you know you've come to the right place. The aroma of great pho greets your senses and generally the tables are packed with regulars. Kim will surely be there to welcome you, show you to your table get you settled in with some drinks, take your order, and repeat everything back to you for confirmation.
Order any pho on the menu, it's good, really good. The standard bowl is medium and that's hearty, but you can get crazy and order Extra Large if you've brought a huge appetite. I believe the Dac Biet is Extra Large by default. The spring rolls (Goi Cuon) are some of the best I've had in the city. They also have worthy non-pho dishes worth a try.
The neighborhood is not the best, but is safe during daylight hours. Yes, there are genuine crackheads just across the street, but they won't bother you as they are focused on other priorities. Parking is meter only for $2.50/hour except Sundays when it's free. Sunday parking can be tougher as there's a church nearby.

Meat is very fresh here. You can also ask for the rare steak on the side and they'll bring you a seperate bowl of hot broth to cook it to your own liking. There's always a crowd in there which make for fresh ingredients. THough it's filling enough, they don't give you as many noodles as most places.
