I rated this restaurant not based on pho. Here is why:
This is a really good all around Vietnamese restaurant. Great beer (tons of Trappist Ales and Belgians in addition to the usual suspects) and wine lists to match their extensive menu.
However, do not order pho here. It is not what they do. They offer it because I think they feel they have to. There are far better pho options in Richmond.
Have the grilled or braised quail, any of the lemongrass dishes, any of the bbq or broken rice dishes -- all are excellent. But the pho will disappoint.

Love!!Love!! I recommend the spicy sate sauce version. Plenty of sprouts, basil and chilies. So good it doesn't need hoisin or red chili paste. I crave this pho and eat it weekly. Best pho EVER!

We stopped coming there after they "americanized" the menu and the server gave us attitude. Great beer selection always.
