This was one of my favorite places and closest to my home. Not sure if they have re-opened after Katrina. Very clean, nice place. Good soup, egg rolls, and my daughter's favorite, spring rolls. We haven't eaten there since Katrina in August. It is now Thanksgiving 2005 and I really nead a Pho fix with lots of hot sauce! Making me hungry now.

I drove by Pho Bang last week(1/18/06) and could see that it was open. The rest of New Orleans East still looked very bad after Katrina. I haven't tried it again after the Hurricane, but I am sure it is still good. Will letyou know after I try it.

Highly recommend

Oops.
I believe this one has been closed for a while. I got it mixed up with the Pho Bang on Chef Menteur down the street. It is the same restaurant, just moved to a better location. All the above comments apply to the Pho Bang on Chef. The other Pho Bang restaurants are just as good. I have eaten at them all.
