They changed the recipe for their broth and it's not as flavorful or fragrant. Plus, I think they raised their prices so they're more expensive than others in town.

Do yourself a phofavor stay away from this place. One of the worst pho I have ever had. And I had many. Most of them quite good. But La Cai is more of a pretentious Chinese restaurant in the first place. Then the broth is tasteless but salty like hell. Meat (tai) tastes funny and gooey. Noodles were clumpy and overcooked.
Stay away, Go to Pho Tay Ho on 1766 South Main instead.

Great Pho, egg rolls to die for.

Best pho in town. The broth is very flavorful & lots of meaty & beefy fragrance. Especially lean broth & can't even taste any MSG at all. Meat, noodle & broth is perfect, just a little bit skim on the vegetables, no saw leaf herb. This is one of the nicest and cleanest asian joint I'd been to. The price seems to be very reasonable. You get what you paid for.
