The restaurant is beautiful with pleasant service. However, the pho broth was not good. I always order Tofu pho with broccoli and I am used to beef or chicken broth if the restaurant does not have a vegie broth. But this broth was ink black in color with an odd gamey odor and taste. The gamey flavor was so strong it instantly penetrated the noodles & veggies and I could not eat any of it. This surprised me because I have eaten pho many times at the other location on Lamar and it was very good. But what upset me the most was that when I said I did not like it, I was not offered a substitute and was still presented with the bill of over $8. A beef eater might like the strong murky broth, but if you go there, I suggest you ask to test the broth first before proceeding to order.
