Orem's Soup Nazi. Do it his way, or get out! Most oriental restaurants are a good place for a vegetarian meal. Not Pho Plus Noodle House. When we arrived, the host seated us. The place was empty other than 2 tables. He took a long time to come back. I told him that I'm on a special low-fat vegetarian diet, could he recommend something. He had no ideas,"We're not really ready for that." "Well, how about if you just do something without meat and surprise me?" I asked. "Maybe you could make the vermicelli dish with tofu instead of meat, and substitute a fresh Summer Roll for the greasy fried Spring Roll?" He said he'd have to ask the chef. He came back, said ok, but there would be an Up Charge. "How much?" I asked. "How much do you think it is worth?" he countered. "Something less than a hundred dollars," I said, jokingly. "Two dollars," he said. I was starting to get annoyed at his lack of hospitality, so I suggested that since tofu costs less than the meat, there shouldn't be any upcharge. He said, "We decline the offer." and indicated for us to leave his precious restaurant. We were incredulous. We have never been treated so badly by a restaurant. We left his restaurant hungry and went to the India Palace restaurant in Provo where the owner was friendly, gracious, concerned with our satisfaction and grateful for our business. Oh, and we spent more at the Indian place than we would have spent at Pho Nazi Noodle House of Pain and Torture. I should get flamed here for wanting vegetarian at a Pho house. I've never tasted Pho and didn't know what it was when I entered. Mr Grumpy might make the best Pho soup in the world. I don't know, he kicked me out. If you want Pho noodle soup and you ask for it just right and don't ask for anything special, the Pho Noodle Soup Nazi might grant your request ... if he's in a good mood. Otherwise, NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!

The anonymous reviewer was such a pompous jerk who walked into a pho restaurant, knowing absolutely nothing about pho and calling Vietnamese "Oriental", which is a taboo and offensive term (showing his/her complete ignorance). So I thought I'd balance out the rating to give Pho Plus Noodle House a fighting chance against the ravings of an arrogant vegetarian.

A must for people that love pho. I would also suggest the spring rolls with peanut sauce. Excellent!

My wife and I have been eating here for months. It is one of my favorite of all restaurants, not just Pho. The owners are always gracious and accommodating. The service is wonderful, even when we show up two minutes before closing time.

The first anonymous reviewer is so arrogant and pompous. What a sham review. I've been going to this PHO noodle house for awhile and they have always been nice. The food is great and so is the service. Look if you're a picky eater that's your right, but it's the shops' right to charge what they do. Look what you want isn't on the menu!!! Get used to it. It's so irritating to see people bent out of shape when their every little whim is not met whenever demanded. What a spoiled little brat.

Our first experience with pho was a little place up north, as authentic as it gets... and was amazingly delicious. We've been searching everywhere for somewhere that could possibly compare, and have found it! Wonderful small-restaurant atmosphere, absolutely delicious food, (the pho is truly wonderful) excellent, friendly service, and always very accommodating to our questions. Be careful, though- certain times of the day you won't find an open table!

A fantastic bowl of happy. Delicious, fragrant broth, great condiments - basil, sprouts, lime -, and quick service at a very reasonable price.

Excellent Vermicelli and Pho. I'm so glad they kicked Anonymous out of the restaurant. What an ignorant jerk. They belong to Chuck-O-Rama or McDonalds.

I get really tired of the arrogant vegetarians that ruin it for the rest of us. This place is AMAZING. Always friendly, always prompt, always delicious. Best pho in Utah.

This is the best possible food to eat on a cold winter day. The staff and owners have always been very nice to us. I am glad that they kick whiny vegetarians to the curb.

The pho here was particularly good. Definitely the best I've had for a long time.

I have eaten many-a bowls of Pho in my life. I have eaten it all over the U.S. and hundreds of bowls in south east Asia, cooked by native Vietnamese people. The Pho at this noodle house is PERFECT! I believe the owners are Korean, but they definitely cook it the way it was meant to be cooked. The atmosphere is clean and neat, which is a plus. I like to wash my Pho down with a taro boba. Go and support this local restaurant!
