I lived in Columbia for twenty years and had the Chinese food at Chinese Wok Express several times. I always forgot about it because it is such a hole in the wall place but they had the best food for cheap. I few years ago I rediscovered it once more and finally ventured to the Vietnamese side of the menu. My only regret is it took so long and now I have moved to Kansas City. Their Pho is hands down some of the best to be found anywhere. The broth is truly amazing (they start making it at 3:30 am) and the condiments are very fresh. They don't have a great variety, but the Pho Tai is so phenomenal you won't need anything more. I know someone who has eaten Pho all over the world who says it's the best he's ever had. At less than $7 a bowl, it won't break the bank but bring cash because they don't take plastic.

Location is down town small town so parking can be bothersome especially with metered parking during lunch rush. Place is clean but spartan. You place your order at the counter, pay in cash, then plop down to an open seat. Food seems to take a tad longer to come out from the back. There's only one size and its like a medium large so may be short for a dinner option. Broth is pretty decent with a stronger anise flavor. Noodles were fresh but a bit undercooked. Since the broth is not piping hot, can't blanch the veggies and cook down the noodles, durn... Got a nice big sprig of basil, plump bean sprouts but has a little browning, sliced jalapenos and a wedge of lime. There's less than a handful choices for pho so my selection of rare steak and meatball is adequately represented. Overall a decent place for pho that would be killer if they get the serving temperature to steaming facial.
