This place is average at best, I dont know what the other reviewers are talking about. The broth is almost watery. I left a lot of broth in my bowl last time. I hate to use the hoisin in my soup, but I had to, and a few splashes of nuoc mam to boot. Go here and youll leave wondering why you didnt go down the road to Pho 75 in Hyattsville, one of the better pho spots in the area. I always do. On the flip side, they serve other food, so if you are with someone who doesnt want pho, and you are fine with sub-par pho, this may be a good choice. Otherwise, just say phok-it and go somewhere else.

Place has improved. Broth is better, more meaty and hearty, more flavor and spices. Getting better. Still nto the best in the area, but you could do worse.

Good choice on bad weather days.

Just OK. Thought the noodles were a little different, Meat was very good and plentiful, broth was a little below average. Veggies were good and plentiful. Just a tourist visiting IKEA down the road and thought we would stop in. Restaurant was packed so obviously the taste has grown on the locals but we thought it was just average.

I've been going here for a good 6 years or so and have always found it to be solidly reliable for good (not great) pho. The garden rolls are good when fresh and horrid otherwise. Fried rolls are usually ok but sometimes greasy (or gritty). Platters are inexpensive and have ridiculously huge portions, more a family plate than dinner for just one person. Bubble drinks are average but the French press coffee (cafe sua da, if memory serves) over ice and condensed milk is a powerful jolt. Staff attentiveness ranges from minimal to not much after you've been served so if you want something, speak up. All in all an enjoyable local eatery, well worth a visit or two. Visit the bakery next door, too.

Yes, I'm a pho phantic. I have eaten it all over the US and Vietnam. Having said that, Pho 88 is one of my all time favorites. It has consistently good broth, decent noodles and lots of meat.

Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion but I got to question those who think this place is sub par.
