Just tried this place for the first time last month (June '06). This is probably the freshest-tasting, most delicious Pho I've tried in Indianapolis. I live on the north side, but this place is worth the drive.

Pretty good Pho. Atmosphere leaves a little to be desired but service was fast and pleasant.

Best pho in Indy. Unlike other pho restaurant here, the broth has a great flavor to it. The restaurant is simple and has fast service.

This place is actually two restaurants in one, Egg Roll No. 1 and Pho No. 1. When you go in, make sure you ask for the vietnamese menu.

As for the pho, highly recommended. Everything was great, the broth was very good and the garnishes were fresh. The noodles did feel a little tough, but all in all, it was a great meal. Also, the service was very fast.

This place is pretty good, considering the limited pho possibilities in Indy. It is not as dingy as other places, and the pho, while not earth-shattering, is surprisingly good, although it could be served a bit hotter. Also, the meat, although tender, is served in little clumps that resemble crumpled up clothing. Although this is only an aesthetic complaint, it sure would be nice to find a place that serves their meat in the paper-thin, melt-in-your-mouth shavings that you find on the west coast.
The fried spring rolls with nuoc cham sauce are delicious.

We were quite surprised to find pho this good in Indiana. This is a small place with a Chinese menu that does pho on the side, along with a few other Vietnamese dishes. When we ate there, the place was filled with Vietnamese people eating pho. The broth was nicely balanced, not bland, and had a good blend of ingredients. We have found that the further east you travel in the US, the worse the pho gets. This restaurant is right up there with the best you'll find in Colorado or Arizona, which are a considerable distance west of Indiana.

The noodles must have improved since the last review because my meal was fantastic. Great service, clean, well-lit environment. The menu on the board is Chinese, you'll need to look at the Pho-specific menu on the counter. I'll definitely be back (especially since my office is nearby!)

Had a choice between Chik-fi-la, and this unexplored place. So glad we chose Egg Roll 1. The pho was awesome, as were the spring rolls and peanut sauce!
Highly recommended!

This was my first time eating Pho, and if it all tastes like this, I have been missing out! Simple ingredients, prepared perfectly. I had the Chicken Pho (can't remember the official name). It was the best chicken noodle soup i have ever had. (sorry grandma). The staff was very friendly and offered suggestions regarding sauces and the garnish plate.

I eat here at least once a week, always order Pho. The owners are incredibly nice people and the food has always been excellent.

This place is EXCELLENT! The Pho is very good and the restaurant has a family feel to it. I would highly recommend it.

Hands down, this is the only place I've ever eaten on a regular basis and never had a single bad experience. Hot, fast, fresh and friendly. Great prices, too!

Went here for the first time this week, and will be back often! We fed a family of 5 for $35, including two appetizers, 2 pho dishes, 2 meals for the kids, and 5 drinks. The food was superb--hot, fresh, and delicious. The broth was so aromatic--truly unique. The staff was warm and welcoming. My kids are begging me to go back!!!
