Let me preface that I'm origianally from Seattle, so my standards may be higher.

The broth was very good among the best I've ever had. The noodles did not clump and the texture was correct and not gummy. The quality of the meat was sub par. I ordered the rare-round beef. There was nothing rare about it, it was overcooked and tough. The greatest sin, though was that there was hardly any meet there. 5 pieces or so. The bean sprouts were of decent quality, and plenty of them. Same with the basil, and jalapenos. There was a small lime, though I'm sure you could get more if you wanted.
While I did enjoy the pho, the lack of meat was very dissapointing.

Pho Real!

Lauren
The pho was of acceptable quality in my opinion. Like one other reviewer I too was disappointed by the meat in both it being over cooked and minimal. However, the noodles were well cooked, the broth was flavorful and the vegetables were fresh and plentiful. With a good squirt of Siracha Chili Sauce and a little extra soy I was a mostly happy camper.

I visited the Far East Cuisine 08-08-2009 and had Pho Tai Bo Vien (rice noodle soup with meatballs) as well as their spring rolls. Being from Southern California (San Diego and Los Angeles), I would love to have seen more meat in the Pho. The spring roll was very good. My friend ordered the BBQ Pork chop rice dish and she only had two small slices of pork chop. It was very disappointing to have such less meat. Overall, it was good.

Sadly, Far East is sorely lacking. In desperation for a bowl of Pho', this is North Florida's only choice. Otherwise you have to drive to Atlanta or Orlando. The broth is just okay, but can be adjusted somewhat with condiments. The size of the bowl for the price, along with the lack of flavorful or quality meat, and sadest of all, is the scant little plate of wilty cilantro. We are always disappointed. With a little more effort, their Pho' could pass the test. We have an excellent local Viet owned grocery that keeps an excellent supply of herbs. That shouldn't be their excuse. We try them about every 6 months. With no competition for this market, they aren't even trying to improve.
