I have eaten at many viet restaurants all over the world. This is by far the best.

Never eaten PHO before. The experience was great. The restaurant set the bar very high.

I'm Vietnamese and I grew up eating pho. I've eaten pho in Vietnam, California, Colorado, Germany, and other places. The pho at Pho Real is by far the worse! The broth was bland and the star anise was too strong. The herbs and bean sprouts given were not fresh. My sister had bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) and the taste of that was off too. We had to add a lot of fish sauce to our noodles but the sauce was not strong enough to make much difference. We also had the spring rolls for appetizer and that was okay. The dipping sauce was off because it needed more hoisin sauce so we added it.

Overall, the food was bad and I don't recommend this place, which is unfortunate since I've never had a bad experience at a Vietnamese restaurant before.

I like the ambience, the decor, and the menu.
Modern, not trendy. I think they have great service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

A good, quality bowl of Pho. The broth is a tad unsophisticated but it's very fresh and the meat is excellent. Probably my second favorite Pho in Charlotte behind Pho an Hoa.

MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WAS STOLEN. I seriously doubt I would eat there again

I ate at Pho Real just last week and am planning on going back tonight. I'm a relative "newbie" to pho having discovered it some 3 years back and become ADDICTED. However, I'm a pretty tame pho eater, not going in for the exotic meats or rare beef.
This place is great because they have like 4 different sized bowls and lots choice and option in meats and noodles. Also offer differing bowl sizes. Lot's of americanized choices as well as more ethnic such as tendon and rare beef. Plenty of fresh vege's to choose from served with the pho.

Pho Real has quickly become a staple for me and my husband. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the food is always good. After trying several items on the menu, the curry soup is my current favorite.

This place is wonderful! The food is excellent, the vegetables are fresh and crisp, the soups are light and fantastic. Also, they are very vegan friendly, offering a variety of meat free dishes including stir fry tofu and fresh salads. Their Tofu Goi Cuon is out of this world.
