This is a tiny restaurant that you could easily miss. No one speaks English and it has a small menu. However, the Pho and Bun have been good enough to make it worth while when one is in Southeastern Fairfield County.

I don't think I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. My first and only experience there was not the greatest. To be honest, the place is not so clean (for a restaurant anyways). I ordered the shrimp and pork noodle soup, but I asked the waiter three times to hold the pork (I did not want pork at all). I wound up getting more pork in my bowl than anything. The restaurant is really tiny, too. I was basically rushed out before I could finish my meal to make room for other customers. I had been eating for about 15 minutes when the waiter actually picked up my bowl and dumped my noodle soup into a take out container (I never asked her to do that). She apologized afterwards, but that is a great way to lose customers. I was eating and she actually just picked up my bowl. So, basically I would not visit this place again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Really tremendous!

This restaurant is not for the faint of heart. It's only one step above a carryout, in a transitional neighborhood on Bridgeport's west side. But what a joy if you can make the trip!

They serve a variety of the Vietnamese greats, including pho, banh mi and bun, among others. They know what they do right: the menu only has 24 items, including drinks, and you can't beat the prices. The pho was tremendous, served with well done meat. Among the condiments on the table was tremendous hot pepper chutney which really gave my pho a kick.

I'll come here again and again. This makes a place like New Haven's Pot-au-Pho look like a bunch of pikers.

I am from Houston, so I know pho. I live in Westchester County, NY (just south of Fairfield Co, CT) and there are no pho places here, good or bad. I just found out about this one in Bdgpt. While it is a hole in the wall, it was pretty good. Prices were ok, waitstaff was spotty, ambiance is terrible, but if all you care about is pho, then its good. And since it's the pho available to me outside of Manhattan or Queens it is great! I would go back. But take out might be the better option.

I was in the mood for a lighter home style type broth, so this hit the spot.

They don't give you enough noodles.

The meat is good, but they only let you order a special.

The basil, sprouts and other garnishing veggies were all garden fresh and abundant.

The service is what you would epect from a small family owned place.

However, it isn't as small as others indicate.

I had this pho takeout, which is obviously not the best way to eat pho. Nevertheless, the meat was not great and the noodles were sticky and clumpy and a bit under-done.
