As soon as you walk in you'll be greeted and seated in a moderately classy restaurant. The amount of people in there isn't anything like boston's pho restaurants but there are the regulars, like me. This won't satisfy the avid PhoNatic but it'll do its job and subside cravings for half the day. Definitely a great place to eat if you're in portland or just visiting. You'll find yourself surrounded by americans, mostly--but its ok because your waitress will speak to you in vietnamese if she's spoken to in viet. A very average restaurant--neverless.

Way too overpriced. 6.50/bowl and almost 8/large. For that much money the quality of the meat shouldn't have rainbow reflections on it.

This place is a bit hard to find because it's kind of hidden, but it is worth the search. The food is great and the service is very friendly. The restaurant itself is kind of ghetto, but it is very satisfying because it's the only Pho restaurant around. I highly recommend this place.

The broth is great, but the soup is very Americanized

Not anymore
The problem here is that the owner seems really nice but she is not nice to her workers. The other day she was screaming at one of her waiters in front of all the customers. It was AWFUL and he did not do anything wrong. She shamed him and treated him like a slave. I think he is related to her also; I do not want to spend my money in a place where someone treats people in that way. It is not ok!

The owner talk on the phone too much, and the soup is cold, the food is not so good, I am not spent my money here again.

This place knows their shit, i dont know if they have changed anything, but i do know that they are not closed and for good reason. their pho is ridiculously good. the broth is out of this world. i almost dont want to add anything into it just not to disturb the delicious taste that enters through my lips as i slurp the broth. the noodles are nothing special but tasty none the less. the meat might not be filet mignon (i go with rare beef and well done brisket), but a piece of the well done brisket onto of a spoon full of broth will make any negative feelings that anyone has about this place go right out the window. I have tried a few other places in and around Portland/Brunswick area and all are second to 2(Thanh Thanh 2), but then again im in it for the broth TWO THUMBS WAY UP.
