I've eaten about 300 bowls of pho in my lifetime. Pho Ca Dao is my favorite "pho" restaurant so far. It's always very consistent. I've yet to have a bad bowl. I used to love the #17 (well done steak). I recently tried the spicy beef soup (I would butcher the spelling, so I won't even try). The broth is still clear, but It has a rich red flavor. Just enough spice, without being overpowering. I now get the #17, but I substitute the spicy red broth for the regular "pho" broth. Its the best.

Wonderful broth, lots of extras come free without even asking. I always order the chicken, lot of chunks of white meat. The noodles stay solid through the next day, (I always order the large so I can take leftovers home). I also recommend the spring rolls, crunchy with fresh whole shrimp and a nice peanut sauce. The service is brusque, but quick and efficient. Good prices, two can eat for under $16.00 dollars. Nice place and plenty of parking.

Of all the Viet restaurants on El Cajon Blvd... I'm talking about like "zillion" of them, this one stands out as the best! Great food, super friendly service and spotless. For this neighborhood, it's top of the line. Give them a try, you'll like it!

The SERVICE is amazing! So friendly and always refilling your waters without you having to ask. Food is delicious including other things besides Pho, like the bun (vermicelli).
