My co-worker and I are White Boy Pho fanatics, and have been eating pho less than 2 years. We've tried a handful of pho places in Milpitas, Alum Rock, San Jose, Los Altos, Oakland, San Francisco, and even in the Fresh Choice restaurant chain; and Pho Nam is our favorite. He likes the atmosphere, service, and basic beef pho (#15). I love the veggie pho. This is by far the best veggie pho I've had the pleasure of. I prefer it with beef broth, but chicken broth is good and nice for a change sometimes. The tofu is fried I think. The best part of Pho Nam veggie pho is the vegetables - loaded with cabbage, carots, broccoli, cauliflower, ... I also like Pho Nam's use of lime instead of lemon. Co-worker puts hot sauce and sprouts in his pho. I am a purist, and add halapeno, basil, cilantro, and lime. Enjoy - as long as we can still get a table there when we go.
