The "small" size pho was still quite generous, and had just the right balance of meat, noodles and a slightly cloudy broth. What the broth lacked in clarity it more than made up for in richness of flavor.
The restaurant is super-clean and the staff are very friendly and fast. My relatives in the Twin Cities area took me to Thanh Truc there on a recent holiday visit, and I'm so glad they did!

I go to Thanh Truc regularily, as it is the best Pho I've found near where I work. The meat is typically fatty, but the broth is excellent and the price is low for the quantity you get. I definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for Vietnamese in the East metro.

This restaurant touts itself as offering authentic Vietnamese food, but a look at the menu suggests that it is less focused on offering the authentic experience than catering to the less adventurous palates of the local residents (e.g., the large number of Chinese dishes). I was unpleasantly surprised to find that Pho Dac Biet was not offered at all, that the veggie accompaniment to the pho was limited and didn't appear fresh (and no culantro), and that the flavor was mediocre at best. Unfortunately, I have yet to find good pho in Woodbury.

Pretty awesome pho. I always get the large portion and I find it to be worth the extra dollar. The broth is clean and not plain like most pho restaurants out there. There's a plentiful amount of noodles and they're cooked with perfection. The amount of meat is great, but there are times where it's not the best. They actually give you lime.
