After going on a whim, this experience turned out very well. I will be coming back to this place again!

Although a good place to eat, It's does not rate as high on the scale for us as Pho So 1. We would eat here as an alternative occassionally.

Many of my friends love the pho here.
I am a fan of their grilled items in their vermicelli dish or on their broken rice.
I think the pho is second to the pho served at Pho So 1 on Rigsby Road, right around the corner from this place. So I generally come here to Vietnam One if Pho So 1 is so full that I won't be able to get a seat for a while--which happens quite a bit around lunch time.

This was the first Vietnamese restaurant I had been to since moving to Richmond. It's a bit far from my house, but the food is so good and fresh. I'm not always happy with the service as certain waiters have bouts of moodiness, but I've never been disappointed with the food. The Pho was delicious!

Love Vietnam One. We used to eat at Pho So 1, which also has great pho, but, over time, came to enjoy Vietnam One even more. The staff is friendly (though it may take a few visits for the friendliness to surface) and the pho is truly excellent.
